Joseph A. Maisano

Joseph A. Maisano has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Principal of John H. West Elementary School and previously holding various positions within the Plainedge School District, including Director of Special Education, Assistant Director of Special Education, and Special Education Teacher since August 2004. Prior to this, Joseph Maisano worked as a Resident Director at Hofstra University from January 2002 to June 2004. Educational qualifications include a District and School Building Leader certification from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (2010-2011), a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education from Hofstra University (2001-2003), and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and English from Hofstra University (1997-2001).
