Andrea Pontet

Andrea Pontet is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, instructional design, and social intervention. Currently serving as a Diseñadora Instruccional at Ceibal since May 2018, Andrea specializes in creating learning experiences and curating content across multimedia platforms. In addition to this role, Andrea contributes as a Profesora de Ajedrez at Club BPS and has been a Docente de Ajedrez with ANEP since March 2017, promoting chess to youth and adults in various educational settings. Previous experiences include working as an Educadora in a socio-educational project, Técnica en Área Social at PLEMUU, and Contenidista for ONU Mujeres Uruguay, focusing on disability, gender, and violence. Andrea also has a strong academic foundation, holding a Maestría en Género y Políticas Públicas de Igualdad and a degree as an Educadora Social, complemented by various qualifications in education and electricity.
