Ryu Hirosoko is a skilled culinary professional with extensive experience in sushi and omakase cuisine. Currently serving as a sous chef at the Michelin star restaurant The Den in Miami, Florida, since November 2021, Ryu has previously held positions as head chef and menu creator at Sushi by UZU in Washington, DC, and as sous chef at the Michelin star restaurant Sushi Nakazawa. Ryu's career began in Japan, working in various capacities at family-owned izakayas and upscale sushi restaurants, and includes roles as a sushi chef at Tako Grill and Gatten Sushi, as well as a volunteer tour guide in Peru. Educational background includes a degree from Nihon University, enhancing Ryu's culinary expertise.
