Daniel Mugnier

Daniel Mugnier is a seasoned professional in the field of solar energy and innovation, currently serving as the Directeur Délégué Solaire et Innovation and Responsable Agence Lyon at Planair SA since April 2022. Daniel holds multiple leadership positions within the International Energy Agency (IEA), including Chairman of the PVPS Program and Chairman of the Solar Heating and Cooling Programme. Additionally, Daniel contributes to various organizations as an administrator at Négawatt and a board member of Observ'ER and Think Tank France Territoire Solaire. In academia, Daniel is an invited lecturer at several prestigious institutions, teaching courses on photovoltaic and thermal solar energy. Daniel's educational background includes a Doctorate in Energy Engineering from Mines Paris - PSL and an engineering degree from IMT Mines Albi, underpinned by a DEA in Processes, Systems, and Materials.
