Nils Hirsch

Nils Hirsch has a strong background in engineering, business development, and project management. Nils began their career as a Research Associate at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they focused on product innovation and taught Mechanical Engineer-related classes. Nils then moved on to SCHOTTEL, where they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer and later as a Project Manager for the Black Rock Tidal Power tidal energy project. In 2016, they became the President of Black Rock Tidal Power Inc. Most recently, Nils has held roles at PlanET Biogas Solutions Inc., including Director of Business Development - North America, General Manager, and currently as the Vice President of Engineering, Procurement, and Sales.

Nils Hirsch obtained a Diplôme d´Ingénieur de l´Ecole Centrale de Lyon from Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from Technische Universität Darmstadt between 1998 and 2005.
