Cody Cai

Cody Cai has a diverse work experience in various design roles. From 2023, Cody worked at Howl as a Senior Systems Designer. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, Cody was a Product Designer - Square Design System at Block. From 2019 to 2022, Cody worked at Twitch as a Product Designer - Community Engagement. Cody was a Product Designer at Nagarro from 2018 to 2019. Before that, from 2017 to 2018, Cody worked at IBM as a Product Designer for IBM API Connect, where they were responsible for visual exploration and execution. Cody has also worked as a Graphic Artist at Michigan Creative | University of Michigan from 2013 to 2017, contributing to the university's global brand image. In 2016, Cody was a Software Design Intern at IBM as part of the IBM Design Maelstrom program. Cody worked as a Freelance Design Contractor at Carnegie in 2016 and as a Graphic Design Intern at Teal Media in 2015.

Cody Cai attended the University of Michigan from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design. During their time at the University of Michigan, Cody also pursued a Minor in Business from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, specializing in Marketing/Marketing Management. In 2016, they participated in a study abroad program at DIS, focusing on Design and Visual Communications. Furthermore, in October 2017, Cody obtained a certification as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM.
