Ahmed Taha

Ahmed Taha is a highly skilled senior presales engineer at Planet, with extensive experience in satellite technology and geospatial platforms. Since joining Planet in February 2019, Ahmed has served as a technical advisor, helping customers understand their business challenges and technical requirements. Prior to this role, Ahmed worked at Bentley Systems for nearly a decade, holding various positions including consultant for reality modeling solutions and geospatial consultant, where responsibilities included business development and delivering product demonstrations. Additional experience includes positions as a technology sales consultant at Esri Northeast Africa and application engineer, as well as serving as an enterprise system architect at ESRI Northeast Africa. Ahmed began a career in IT as a Linux system administrator and security engineer at Maridive & Oil Services. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
