Filipe Catarino

Filipe Catarino is a Software Engineer at Planet since January 2022, with prior experience as a Software Developer at VanderSat and as a Software Engineer at PerfoTec, where work included the development of a Central Laser Management System (CLMS) focused on web application and algorithm implementation for food packaging. Before these roles, Filipe completed a Graduate Internship at Heemskerk Innovative Technology BV (HIT), developing a virtual reality training simulator, and an Internship Trainee position at TNO, specializing in static MIMO identification and control of adaptive optics systems. Filipe holds a Master of Science degree in Systems and Control from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
