Haris Alijagic

Haris Alijagic is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Planet since April 2022, previously holding the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Amazon, where contributions included leading the mechanical design for critical optical communication systems for Project Kuiper. Prior experience includes roles at Facebook in the Connectivity Team, as well as a range of positions at Tesla, from launching the Model 3 to developing production testers for electric vehicle motors. Alijagic holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's Degree from San Francisco State University, with a focus on Controls and Robotics. Early career experiences involved internships and engineering roles in diverse fields, including automotive performance and biomedical applications.
