Jacob Noel

Jacob Noel is a seasoned Remote Sensing Scientist and Senior Sales Engineer with a robust background in environmental science and geospatial information. Currently employed at Planet, Jacob has leveraged expertise in remote sensing since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Project Scientist and Project Scientist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management from July 2018 to October 2021, and as a Faculty Specialist and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from August 2011 to June 2018. Jacob has a Master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, an MPS in Geospatial Information Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a concentration in Environmental Analysis. Educational foundations were established at the University of Louisville and Anderson County High School.
