Jelena Malogajski

Jelena Malogajski serves as the Education Director at the Planetary Health Alliance since May 2023, previously holding the title of Education Manager. Prior to this role, Malogajski was an Assistant Professor of Public Health at LIU Brooklyn from September 2016 to August 2022, teaching subjects such as Epidemiology and Health Policy. Malogajski also worked as a Public Health Researcher and Lecturer at Maastricht University from 2009 to December 2014, focusing on the translation of genomic information into public health applications. Earlier experience includes serving as a Public Health Physician and Health Analyst at the Institute of Public Health of Serbia from November 2006 to November 2009, and as a General Practitioner at a Primary Care Outpatient Clinic from December 2004 to November 2006. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Health Genomics and an MPH in Health Policy, Economics, and Management from Maastricht University, as well as an MD from the University of Belgrade.
