Nolan Caudill

Nolan Caudill has an extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Nolan began their career in 2006 as a Junior Software Developer at WRAL.com. In 2007, they moved to Newfangled Web Factory as a Lead Software Engineer and Web Developer. In 2010, they joined Flickr as a Software Engineer and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer in the same year. In 2012, they joined 2bkco as a Coder and Urban Airship as an Engineering Manager and Messaging Engineer. In 2014, they joined Slack as a Senior Manager, Internal Tools, Head of Product Operations, Head of Organizational Development, and Engineering Chief of Staff. Most recently, in 2022, they joined PlanetScale as the Director, Engineering, Surfaces.

Nolan Caudill obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2001 and 2006. Prior to that, they attended North Wilkes High School.
