Shlomi Noach

Shlomi Noach has a long and varied work experience. Shlomi began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer and Project Leader at StartNet Ltd. In 2004, they became an Instructor at the Open University of Israel, and also founded and became CTO of S.F.N.K. Ltd., providers of the makam system. In 2005, they became an Instructor and Consultant at Interbit T&C Ltd., and in 2006 they were a Software Developer (freelance) at Hinbit Development Ltd. In 2008, they became a MySQL Consultant at openark.org (self employed). In 2013, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Outbrain. In 2014, they became a Senior Systems Engineer at Booking.com. In 2015, they joined GitHub as a Staff Software Engineer, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, and Principal Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined PlanetScale as a Software Engineer.

Shlomi Noach obtained a B.A. in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel between 2000 and 2005. Shlomi is also a Certified MySQL 5.0 Database Administrator from Oracle/MySQL.
