Trevor Nicholson ACMA, CGMA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Trevor is currently the Chief Financial Officer at PlanetWatchers, a company that processes satellite data to improve processes for US crop insurers. In this role, Trevor oversees the finance function, ensuring compliance across multiple countries and supporting operational and commercial teams. Trevor focuses on cash runway forecasting, investor relations, adapting to rapid changes in the start-up business, and regulatory and tax compliance.

Before joining PlanetWatchers, Trevor worked at SaleCycle as Finance Director, where they played a key role in the company's growth as a market leader. Trevor also served as Financial Controller at SaleCycle. Prior to that, Trevor was a Group Financial Controller at Danieli Holdings Limited, responsible for financial control and management information in a group of ten companies across different industries.

Trevor has also held various financial controller roles at De Vere Group, Chisholm Bookmakers Ltd, Newcastle Racecourse & Conference Centre, Village Hotel & Leisure Clubs Limited, and Longhirst Group Limited. Trevor'searly career started as a Senior Accounts Clerk at MARI GROUP LIMITED.

Throughout their career, Trevor has demonstrated expertise in financial control, management reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Trevor has successfully managed change processes and supported business growth in different industries.

Trevor Nicholson ACMA, CGMA has a comprehensive education history in the field of management accounting and strategic management. In 1993, they attended Gateshead College where they pursued a Business & Finance BTEC ONC. Trevor then went on to study at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2006 to 2010, specializing in Management Accounting at the strategic level. In 2016, they obtained an Associate degree in Strategic Management from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Notably, Trevor also acquired an additional Associate degree in Management Accounting from the same institution in 2016.
