Erik Brännström

Erik Brännström has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Erik began their career at Ericsson as a Systems Developer, where they worked on developing a tool for managing statistical data using Java and MS Access.

Erik then worked as the Owner of Streambur Consulting for two years before joining Duego as a Thesis worker/Developer. At Duego, they built a tool in Java for analyzing and planning social network marketing campaigns.

Erik's next position was at TimeEdit AB, where they held multiple roles. Erik started as a Developer, responsible for building a web-based scheduling application and a SAML2 plugin in React, Node.js, and Java. Erik then became a Product Owner and Senior Developer, managing products and leading the agile development process. Finally, they served as the CTO, focusing on modernizing TimeEdit into a scalable and user-friendly SaaS product.

Currently, Erik is working as the CTO and Partner at Planima AB, a prop-tech SaaS company. Their responsibilities include strategic development, team recruitment and growth, coaching team members, and software architecture and development.

Erik Brännström earned a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in September 2012 and Network Fundamentals from Cisco in June 2009.
