Heikki Halmetoja

Heikki Halmetoja is a seasoned software design professional currently serving as a Senior Software Designer at Planmeca since August 2022. Previously, Heikki held various roles at Nokia from November 2017 to August 2022, including ML/AI Engineer and Specialist positions in both Conscious Factory and Test Engineering. Heikki’s earlier career includes significant experience as a Lead Developer at WYWIWYG, where leadership in a mobile game project was demonstrated, and a Design Engineer role at Bittium, focusing on application and system software for the Android platform. Heikki has also contributed to programming and server maintenance at Fantastec, testing mobile equipment at Elektrobit, and managing web and email services during a trainee position at Viske. Educationally, Heikki holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2014.
