Kendra Smith Parks

Kendra Smith Parks serves as the Communications Manager at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast since June 2022. Previously, Kendra held roles as a Communications Strategist and Communications Coordinator at Gambel Communications from January 2021 to June 2022, and worked as a Freelance Writer from July 2018 to June 2022, creating content for various platforms. Kendra's experience also includes serving as a Digital Content Producer at WVUE-TV Fox 8 from November 2019 to January 2021, where content created ranked highly in nationwide views. Kendra began developing professional skills as a Community News Fellow at NOLA.com, a Marketing Administrative Assistant at Mississippi Embroidery, and as a Writer for Student Printz. Kendra's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi, earned in 2017.
