Ashley Brown, DNP, WHNP-BC, has extensive experience in women's health as a Nurse Practitioner at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest since September 2016. Skills include IUD insertion, Nexplanon management, various biopsies, first trimester medication abortion, gestational ultrasound dating, and PrEP/PEP management. Ashley was among the first clinicians to offer Transgender Healthcare services within the affiliate. Previously, Ashley worked as a Registered Nurse in the PCU Trauma Unit at Mountain States Health Alliance and completed a competitive Nurse Intern program there. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Cashier at Aeropostale. Ashley earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University and an MSN in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, also from Vanderbilt, following a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from East Tennessee State University.
