Dr. Omar Cherkaoui

Dr. Omar Cherkaoui, MD, MPH, serves as the Healthcare Transformation Lead (Associate Director) at Planned Parenthood Federation of America since April 2022, focusing on pilot initiatives and strategic goals to enhance women's health care. Previously, Dr. Cherkaoui led the Global Health Initiative at AMBOSS, providing innovative digital health solutions to low- and middle-income countries, and managed international communications and partnerships. Experience includes roles at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and various positions with the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, where leadership and management skills were demonstrated on a global scale. Dr. Cherkaoui holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Mohammed V University in Rabat and multiple public health certificates from Johns Hopkins.
