Elise Gust

Elise Gust has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Elise'smost recent role is as a Product Designer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Tempest, where they held the positions of Lead Instructional Designer from October 2021 to May 2022, and Instructional Designer from November 2020 to October 2021. Elise also has experience as a UX/UI Designer at Rewally in June 2020.

Before transitioning into design, Elise worked in the education sector. Elise served as an ELD Teacher and Team Specialist at Denver Public Schools from July 2017 to February 2020. As an Adult Education Instructor at New America College, they taught from September 2016 to June 2017. Elise also held the position of Lead ELD Teacher/Curriculum Writer at Sheridan School District from July 2012 to June 2016 and was an ESOL Instructor at Fairfax County Public Schools from July 2011 to June 2012.

Elise Gust attended Flatiron School in the year 2020, where they pursued a degree in UX/UI Design. Prior to that, they enrolled in the University of Maryland, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Afterward, they furthered their education at the University of Maryland by undertaking a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
