Prachi Jhawar

Prachi Jhawar has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Starting in 2020, they worked as a Digital Fellow for Ed Markey for U.S. Senate, followed by a role as a Research Assistant for The AIDS Institute. In the same year, they also worked as an Intern and Phonebank Leader for Done Waiting.

In 2021, Prachi joined American University as both a Senior Peer Facilitator and a Peer Facilitator. They also gained experience as a Digital Media Intern at the National Organization for Women.

Later, in 2022, Prachi worked as a Design & Social Media Consultant for Derek Lo for Westford School Committee. They also served as a Senior Associate and an Associate at Kinetic Strategies. Additionally, they worked as a Digital Outreach & Fundraising Assistant for Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health. Currently, Prachi holds the position of Social Media Editor at Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

They also had a previous role as a P2P Texter at Grassroots Analytics from 2021 to 2023.

Prachi Jhawar has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the American University. Prachi also holds an Undergraduate Certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies from the School of Public Affairs at the American University, as well as another Undergraduate Certificate in Women's Policy & Political Leadership from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, Prachi obtained a certification in Stewards of Children from Safe Shores - The DC Children's Advocacy Center in October 2018.
