Alex McRitchie

Alex McRitchie has worked in the software engineering field since 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Software Contractor for Jaybird Marketing Group. In 2015, they joined PlanOmatic and held the roles of Software Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Director of Software Engineering. As Director of Software Engineering, they were responsible for directing and overseeing the software engineering function in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications/operating systems according to business needs. As Software Development Manager, they managed web engineering team members to accomplish company goals while balancing the continued improvement of the technology stack. As Software Engineer, they provided technical direction and code for web applications using Ruby on Rails, AngularJS and MySQL.

Alex McRitchie attended Purdue University from 2008 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics. In 2014, they attended Galvanize Inc for Full Stack Development. In February 2021, they obtained a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
