David Gilbert

David Gilbert has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and system engineering. David started their career at Pan American Bank in 1992 as a Network Support/Software Engineer. After that, they worked at City National Bank as a Network Analyst for over 13 years, where they handled various responsibilities including network support, security, engineering, and data security.

In 2013, David joined PlanSource and held multiple roles. David started as a System Engineer, providing system administration, engineering, and support for VMware and Cisco networks. David then transitioned to the role of Information Security Analyst, where they focused on SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance, as well as starting several programs related to security sales support, vulnerability management, and pen testing.

From 2017 to 2019, David became an Information Security Manager at PlanSource, overseeing the entire Information Security Department and managing compliance with standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR. David also initiated programs in vendor management and incident management.
