Renata Menchikova Methven

Renata Menchikova Methven has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Renata started their career at Phoenix International as a Database Administrator and Support Engineer, where they worked until 2003. After that, they joined CCMC, Inc. as a Software Developer and Business Analyst until 2007. At CCMC, Inc., they gained experience in software development and analysis.

In 2007, Renata joined ZeroChaos, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer, where they led the development of a web-based workforce solution. Renata also worked closely with business stakeholders and clients to define business requirements for new product development and enhancements. During their time at ZeroChaos, Inc., they managed multiple teams of offshore software engineers and QA resources.

In 2011, Renata joined Orange County Public Schools as a .NET Development Lead. In this role, they developed enhancements in district critical applications, documented design patterns of the existing codebase, and designed and implemented new development processes utilizing industry best practices, Microsoft technologies, and Agile methodology.

Then, Renata worked at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment as a .NET Developer from 2012 to 2017. Renata gained further experience in .NET development during their time there.

Currently, Renata is working as a Senior Software Engineer at PlanSource, a position they started in 2018.

Renata Menchikova Methven attended the University of Central Florida from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems.
