Melissa Johnson

Melissa Johnson has extensive experience in global health promotion, consulting, and community empowerment. Currently serving as a Regional Representative at Plant With Purpose, Melissa focuses on alleviating rural poverty through a holistic approach prioritizing environmental restoration and economic empowerment. In addition, Melissa acts as a board member for Ideos Institute, fostering empathy to address societal challenges. With a background as a Principal at MJX Global Health Works, Melissa offers strategic planning and advocacy support. Previous roles include serving as a Philanthropy Advisor for Medical Teams International and mentoring at the George W. Bush Institute’s Women's Initiative Fellowship Program. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from UCLA.
