Alcira Borras, MBA has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Alcira began their career in 1999 as a Financial Analyst (Treasury) for IBM Venezuela. Alcira then moved to Kellogg Company in 2002, where they held the roles of Senior Financial Analyst - Innovation Finance and Financial Analyst / Hyperion System Administrator. In 2005, they joined Newell Brands as an International Senior Finance Manager (Canada-APAC_EMEA-LATAM), coordinating budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Alcira also provided accounting and business guidance to the regions outside the US and supported country/ customer / product line gross margin analysis for profitability analysis and new product launches. In 2013, they joined US Foods as the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis - Merchandising. In 2015, they moved back to HARIBO of America, Inc. as the Senior Finance Director, FP&A/ Strategy. Alcira then held the role of Sr. Director, Finance and Business Planning for HARIBO of America, Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer for PlantPlus Foods.

Alcira Borras, MBA obtained their Executive MBA from Northern Illinois University between 2012 and 2014. Alcira also holds a Treasury Management degree from IESA in Finance, General. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Universidad Metropolitana (VE) in Banking and Finance. Her educational background also includes a High School/Secondary Diploma Program in Science from Colegio Santiago de Leon.
