Pooya Sahandifar

Pooya Sahandifar is a Senior Validation Engineer at Plantvision AB, with expertise in performance evaluation and technical documentation for IVDR products, ensuring compliance with MDR and FDA regulations. Previously, Pooya served as a Biostatistician and data analyst at Boule Diagnostics AB, where responsibilities included end-to-end data processing and creating Standard Operating Procedures in line with FDA and EU regulations. Pooya also has extensive teaching experience, having worked at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Sharif University of Technology in various roles, including PhD student, teaching assistant for courses in medical engineering and biomechanics, and has a background as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Physics teacher. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, an MS in Biomechanics, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
