Josie Fontana

Josie Fontana is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and human resources. Currently serving as the Health, Safety and Wellness Specialist at PLASP Child Care Services since June 2015, Josie has contributed significantly to organizational safety practices. Prior experience includes the role of Occupational Health & Safety Assistant at the Canadian Red Cross for a brief contract in 2015, Regional Safety Advisor at CarePartners from November 2012 to November 2014, and various roles at the Canadian Red Cross between 2006 and 2012, including Human Resources Assistant and Recruitment & Retention Supervisor. Josie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University, along with a Human Resources Management Certificate from Mohawk College and an Adult Education Certificate from Sheridan College.
