Adela Putinelu

Adela Putinelu has a solid background in sustainability and policy work. Adela is currently the Head of Policy and Sustainability at Plastic Energy, where they lead the company's efforts in developing and implementing regional and global regulatory frameworks for chemical recycling, waste management, and the circular economy. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Sustainability Executive at the British Plastics Federation, where they were responsible for coordinating the organization's sustainability strategy, engaging with stakeholders, and conducting research on various environmental topics. Adela also has experience as a Climate Campaigner at the Environmental Investigation Agency and as a Consultant in Climate Policy at Carbon Market Watch. Adela has also held roles at UNESCO and IPPR, where they contributed to policy journals and conducted research on emissions trading and carbon markets.

Adela Putinelu's education history includes four notable experiences. In 2007, they started their bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of Bucharest, specializing in International Relations and Affairs. Adela completed this program in 2010.
