Eduardo Cavalcante has a strong background in IT support and engineering. Eduardo started their career as an IT Support Technician/Analyst at José Abrahão Otoch & Cia LTDA in 2001, where they were responsible for installing, configuring, and resolving incidents on Sales Automation systems and payment systems. Eduardo also developed Palm OS applications.
In 2008, Eduardo joined Grupo Esplanada Brasil S/A as an IT Support Analyst. Eduardo installed, configured, and resolved incidents on Sales Automation systems and payment systems, as well as supervised teams during system deployments. Eduardo continued working in this role until July 2012.

From 2014 to 2017, Eduardo served as an IT Infrastructure Support Analyst at VTI Tecnologia. Here, they managed Linux systems and services, including DNS, Apache, Tomcat, and various databases. Eduardo also handled virtualized environments using VMware tools and installed and configured Business Process Management environments using IBM Business Process Manager.
Starting in 2017, Eduardo held the position of Senior IT Support Engineer at iFactory Solutions and later OSF Global Services. In both roles, they provided specialized support for OpenText Media Manager (OTMM) on Windows and Linux systems. Eduardo managed various services and technologies, such as Apache, Tomcat, Wildfly, and Microsoft SQL Server. Eduardo also assisted with the implementation and maintenance of management processes.
Currently, Eduardo works as a DevOps Engineer at Platform Builders, a position they have held since 2021.
Eduardo Cavalcante attended Universidade Estácio de Sá from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Computer Networking. Eduardo has obtained several additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in July 2020, LPIC-1: Linux Administrator from Linux Professional Institute in September 2012, LPIC-2: Linux Engineer from Linux Professional Institute in December 2012, LPIC-3: Linux Enterprise Professional Certification - Security(303) from Linux Professional Institute in June 2016. Eduardo also holds certifications in ITIL Foundation from EXIN, Novell CLA - Certified Linux Administrator from Novell, and Novell DCTS - Data Center Technical Specialist from Novell.
