Arun Prasath

Arun Prasath has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Arun began their career at ViSolve, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they gained experience in HP's private cloud deployments and implementation of demos. Arun also provided proactive monitoring and support to HP's pre-sales team.

Arun then joined Cisco as a Cloud Engineer, where they were responsible for the operations and administration of Cisco's private Openstack cloud. Arun actively monitored the environment, managed the cluster, and troubleshooted issues with Openstack and Ceph storage nodes.

Next, Arun worked at Simility, A PayPal Service, as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Arun'srole involved ensuring the smooth functioning of DevOps processes and systems.

Afterwards, they joined Endurance International Group as a Senior Operations Engineer, where they worked on centralized logging for a large infrastructure. Arun collaborated with multiple teams to onboard them into the logging solution for PCI compliance.

Currently, Arun is employed at Platform.sh as the Director of Operations & Engineering, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer and a Cloud Operations Engineer within the same company, overseeing various aspects of cloud operations and engineering.

Arun Prasath received their M.Tech degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in the years 2017-2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology from 2009-2013. Arun Prasath also holds several additional certifications including Associate Cloud Engineer from Google (obtained in January 2020), Using Ansible for Configuration Management and Deployments from LinuxAcademy.com (obtained in 2016), Mirantis Certified Administrator for Openstack - Professional Level (MCA200) from Mirantis (obtained in 2014), and CloudU from Rackspace, the Open Cloud Company (obtained in 2013).
