Amir Ghaffari

Amir Ghaffari is the regional manager at Platinum Group Security. Amir has over seven years of experience in the security industry and has been with Platinum Group Security for over two years.

Ghaffari began their career in security with Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in February 2014. Amir quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a corporate security supervisor in just four years. In this role, they were responsible for the safety of guests, employees, properties, events, and assets across all operations while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, laws, protocols, and best practices. Amir also defined and implemented new security policies, protocols, and procedures to enhance operations.

Ghaffari provided dynamic and comprehensive leadership to security officers, including delegating tasks and leading professional development and coaching efforts. Amir also oversaw five security personnel and headed inspections of patrol routes, sites, and ingoing/outgoing packages to resolve critical issues. Additionally, they aligned objectives and bridge communications with diverse clients in order to gain a deep understanding of security needs and potential risks.

Ghaffari has a keen eye for detail and Drafted comprehensive and detailed reports outlining incidents, complaints, and alarms. Amir also maintained responsibility for ensuring proper functionality of alarms systems and fire equipment as well as managed access control and building management systems. In addition to their managerial duties, Ghaffari also performed administrative tasks, including payroll, scheduling, staffing, and recordkeeping.

Ghaffari's extensive experience

After completing their General Certificate of Secondary Education at Aylward Academy, Amir Ghaffari began their National Vocational Qualification at Aylward Academy Sixth Form. Amir later received certification from Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Securitas ACT ACT 1, ACT 2 & ACT 3 E-Learning, and from the American Heart Association in Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED.
