Carlos Avila

Carlos Avila has over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at the University of California, Riverside in the Visual and Intelligent Systems Lab. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Added Value as a Senior Software Developer and CSM, and a Software Developer. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at FloQast as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Manager, Quality Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer, CSM. In 2021, they began working at Plato as a Mentor, Engineering Leadership.

Carlos Avila obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Riverside between 2006 and 2011. Carlos also holds certifications from the OpenJS Foundation as an OpenJS Node.js Services Developer (obtained in October 2019), Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (obtained in August 2019), and the Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster (obtained in January 2014).
