Marc Oyamburu has worked in the gaming and toy industry since 2009. In 2009, they began their career at JCVA as a franchise developer and marketer. In 2010, they moved to J&mbc where they worked as a sales and marketing representative. In 2011, they became a Marketing Intern at Mattel Latin America. In 2012, they were a Marketing Brand Assistant at Hasbro, where they were directly responsible for the Transformers brand and the best-selling product Beyblade. In 2014, they became the Founder and Board Member at Play Business, where they were a nominee for Entrepreneur of the Year by CNN Expansión 2015. In 2017, they became the Lead Investor at Pixel Esports Club, where they set up a business plan and raised the investment. In 2019, they became the Founder and CEO at One Game Studio, where they developed the technology for their real-life videogame, The Bone.
Marc Oyamburu obtained a Licenciatura en Derecho y Economía in Derecho from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2007 and 2012. Marc then went on to receive a Master's degree in Game Design & Story Telling from IEBS in 2019-2020. Additionally, they have a certification in Lean Startup from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
