Dominique W.

Dominique W. began their professional career in 2015 as a Writing Center Assistant at Mountain View College, where they proofread and edited term papers, essays, theses, letters, and other assignments, as well as instructed students on how to paraphrase and cite references properly in order to avoid plagiarism. In 2018, Dominique was a Gallery Attendant at the Dallas Museum of Art, where they resolved customer requests, questions and complaints, and assisted customers as they visited the installations. That same year, Dominique also held a role as a Gallery Director Assistant at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they researched self-taught artists, drafted biographies, proofread and edited social media posts, fliers, posters, and artist descriptions, handled daily tasks and errands, and managed the installation of multiple gallery exhibitions. In 2019, Dominique worked as a Data Entry Specialist at The Dallas Arboretum & Botanic Garden. In 2021, they were a Digital Marketing Intern at Life Benefits, Inc., where they collaborated with management on client accounts, developed creative and modern flyers and other marketing pieces, and assisted in open enrollment, kick-off meetings, and strategy sessions. Dominique is currently a Service Support Specialist at Players Health, where they conduct market research to collect data and consolidate information on potential clients, consumers, and competitors, pulls renewals, records renewal data, and issues renewals to accounts.

Dominique W. obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Graphic Design from Dallas College. Dominique then earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English with a minor in Interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Lastly, Dominique W. obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Dallas College. Additionally, they are expected to obtain an Insurance Agent (Health, Property, Casualty) certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in September 2022.
