Beth Watling

Beth Watling is a seasoned professional in the arts and culture sector with extensive management and production experience. Currently serving as Managing Director at Playful Productions since February 2017, Beth has also held positions such as General Manager and Production Associate within the same organization. Previous roles include Trustee of Durham University Student Union from 2017 to 2019 and Producer at the National Youth Theatre for nearly a decade. Beth has contributed to various advisory groups, including the DCMS UK-China Advisory Group and the British Council UK-Gulf Creative and Cultural Sector Advisory Group. Early career experiences include Assistant Producer at Shakespeare's Globe and Project Coordinator in Learning at the National Theatre. Beth Watling holds a BA Honours in English Literature from Durham University and completed the Clore Leadership Programme in 2016.
