Tobias Widén

Tobias Widén has more than 15 years of work experience, starting with roles in sales and IT support before transitioning to software engineering and technical roles. Tobias worked as a Sales representative at Campuz Mobile in 2005 and an IT Support Engineer at IT-Resurs and InfoCare CS AB between 2005 and 2006. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Teacher and Laboratory Assistant at Kungliga tekniska högskolan. Tobias then joined Tobii AB in 2010 as a Software Engineer, specializing in developing applications controlled by gaze and building API's for eye tracking technology. Tobias later worked at TriOptima as a Software Engineer, contributing to various technical aspects, such as software development, DevOps, recruitment, security, system operations, and performance. At Three, Tobias took on the role of Cloud Engineer from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for designing, building, and running environments, automation, tooling, and code pipelines. Tobias also facilitated knowledge transfer sessions to drive cloud and container adoption. Currently, Tobias is working as a Solutions Architect at Playground Tech.

Tobias Widén obtained their Civilingenjörsexamen (Master of Science in Engineering) in Datateknik (Computer Science) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Tobias then pursued Teknikprogrammet (Technical Program) at Rönninge Gymnasium from 2002 to 2005. In 2017, they took a course in Machine Learning from Coursera.

In terms of certifications, Tobias Widén obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2019. Tobias also earned the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp in May 2021. Most recently, in September 2022, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
