Fernando Javier Cerna Herrera

Fernando Javier Cerna Herrera has a diverse work experience. Fernando Javier started working at Indecopi as a Mechatronics Engineering Intern in July 2014, where they stayed until February 2015. Following this, they joined qAIRa as a Mechatronics Engineer in January 2016 and worked there until June 2019. In 2019, they also became involved with KTH Formula Student, starting as a Driverless Engineer in September 2019 and later taking on the role of Head of Driverless from January 2020 to May 2021. Additionally, they worked at Playpilot as a Python Developer from December 2019 to June 2021. Lastly, they joined Scania Group as a Master Thesis Student in January 2021, ending their tenure there in June 2021. Throughout this time, they were also actively involved in teaching roles at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru - PUCP, serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2015 to July 2018 and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from August 2013 to July 2015. Fernando Javier also briefly worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Mechatronics Project course in March 2014 to July 2014.

Fernando Javier Cerna Herrera has a solid educational background in the field of engineering. Fernando Javier obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, completing their studies from 2010 to 2015.

Seeking further specialization, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Embedded Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they completed between 2019 and 2021.
