Carlos García Álvarez

Carlos García Álvarez is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in back-end development and architectural design. Currently, at Playtomic since January 2018, Carlos has held roles from Back-end Developer to Staff Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a position at Genexies Mobile S.L. where Carlos focused on backend development using Symfony PHP and microservices with Java and Spring Boot. An early career stint as a Software Architect fellow at Indra involved architectural design for Air Traffic Management Systems. Carlos started in academia as a researcher fellow at the University of León. Academically, Carlos holds two Master's degrees in Software Engineering, complemented by a Bachelor's in Computer Science, along with a certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge.
