Sergio García Moratilla

Sergio García Moratilla is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Director of Technology and Head of Backend at Playtomic, where responsibilities include the design, implementation, and maintenance of backend architecture based on microservices, along with the support and migration of legacy monolith applications. Prior to this, Sergio held positions as Team Leader and Senior Analyst Developer at QRR and as Team Leader and Programmer Analyst at Risklab Madrid, both involving managing teams of developers, quants, and designers. Sergio holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning, genetic algorithms, and neural networks from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, complemented by an earlier degree in Computer Science with specializations in software engineering and communication networks.
