Roland Abou-Atme has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Roland began their career in 1995 as a Front Desk/Customer Service clerk at Best Western International, where they had sole responsibility for the hotel's operations during weekends. In 2000, they joined Karat Software - Freeborders, where they held various roles in IT, software development, customer service, and account management. Roland then moved on to Freeborders in 2005, where they managed internal IT, client services, and support for Fortune 500 companies in the apparel industry. In 2007, they joined Danone North American Companies, serving in roles such as Manager, IT On-Site Support Services, Director of IT Operations for North America, and Director of IS/IT Business Partner for Canada Businesses. Roland recently joined Pleio Inc. in 2018 as the Vice President of Technology and Service Delivery. Roland has a proven track record of overseeing technological operations and delivering strategic alignment and effective governance to optimize business performance.

Roland Abou-Atme completed their high school education at Centennial Academy from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a DES degree in High School. Roland then pursued their education in the field of Health Sciences at CEGEP - John Abbott College from 1994 to 1997, obtaining a DEC degree. In the year 1997, they enrolled in Concordia University and completed their Bachelor of Computer Science (BCompSc) degree in Information Systems in 2000. In the same year, they also earned a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certificate from GP Tech. Additionally, Roland obtained an ITIL v3 Certification in 2009.
