Antonio Da Rocha has extensive experience in the EdTech industry. Antonio began their career in 2002 as an independent consultant, facilitator, and speaker in the development of EdTech businesses. In 2011, they took on the role of Director of E-Learning Projects at VeneVirtual, where they were responsible for articulating and coordinating actions between development teams and client requirements. In 2013, they became an alumni of Wayra and CEO of aula7.net, a platform for video classes for secondary students in Latin America. In 2014, they co-founded and became the Director of Education at PleIQ Smart Toys, where they adapted the product to educational standards and curriculums of the region. In 2015, they became an alumni of Start-Up Chile. In 2020, they became a Director of ACHEI and a member of the Board of Directors of AGETECH. Finally, in 2021, they became the Director of CIEI.
Antonio Da Rocha completed a Lic. en Educación in Ciencias Sociales at UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello from 1995 to 2000. Antonio then obtained an Especialización como Experto en Procesos E-learning in Educación Virtual from FATLA in 2009-2010. From 2008 to 2013, Antonio Da Rocha completed a Maestría en Tecnología Educativa in Tecnología en la educación from UNEFA. In addition, Antonio Da Rocha has obtained various certifications, including a CONFERENCISTA MAGISTRAL CIIIE 2021 POLITÉCNICO GRANCOLOMBIANO from Acreditta in December 2021, an Angel Investing Education Workshop from Angel Labs in January 2017, and a Desarrollo de Rutina y Puesta en Escena StandUp Comedy from Dame Comedia by Reuben Morales in August 2016.
