Fidan Samet

Fidan Samet has a diverse range of work experience, starting with a role as a Software Engineer Intern at VLMedia in 2019. Here, they developed a single-page web app to track user weight and also worked on a social media mobile app for Android and iOS devices.

In 2020, Fidan Samet worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Aselsan, the largest defense electronics company in Turkey. They optimized the process of UDP channel in an internal network communication app, reducing network load by 90%. They also made UI/UX improvements in front-end and algorithmic improvements in back-end on web and desktop apps.

In 2021, Fidan Samet joined Turkish Aerospace as a Candidate Software Engineer, where they participated in a 2-month candidate engineer program. They worked on avionics software, developed a control panel for a simulation, and implemented its functionalities using C++, OpenGL, and GLFW.
