Earl Martin Valencia

Earl Martin Valencia has a diverse work experience that spans from 2011 to the present. Earl Martin has held various roles in start-up companies, such as Advisor, Mentor, Board Member, and Angel Investor. In 2018, they became the Managing Director of Strategy, Innovation and Digital Transformation at Charles Schwab Company. In 2019, they co-founded Cognity Labs, a virtual start-up incubator, and Plentina, a startup that uses alternative data to create financial equality for the emerging middle class. In 2021, they became a Founding Board Member at Embiggen, and in 2022 they became a Venture Partner at Global Millennial Capital. In 2020, they were an Adjunct Faculty Member at Asian Institute of Management, and an On Deck Fellow. Earl Martin also became an Adjunct Professor for Management - Global Leadership at Sacred Heart University Jack Welch College of Business & Technology in 2023. In 2014, they were recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

Earl Martin Valencia has an extensive education history. Earl Martin obtained a High School Diploma from De La Salle University in 1999. Earl Martin then attended the University of the Philippines from 1999 to 2001, studying Electronics and Communications Engineering. From 2001 to 2003, they attended Boston University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Cornell University, obtaining a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering (Aerospace). In 2009, they attended both Stanford University Graduate School of Business, obtaining an MBA with a Certificate in Global and Public Management, Focus: Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Global Business, and Tsinghua University, attending an International Exchange Program. In 2014, they attended Harvard Kennedy School, obtaining an Executive Education in Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century. Earl Martin also holds two certifications, a Series 65 from NASAA obtained in December 2022, and an Engineer-In-Training (Massachusetts) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts obtained in June 2003.
