Rubén Medina Santos

Rubén Medina Santos has worked in various roles in the energy industry since 2003. Rubén began their career as an Industrial Risks Analyst at Seguros Bilbao in 2003. In 2004, they worked as an International Project Director, Technical Director, and Wind Resource Manager for Gamesa. In 2011, they joined Vattenfall as the Director of Engineering and Construction BU Wind, leading a team in 4 countries. In 2015, they moved to OX2 as the Head of Engineering, Procurement and Construction, and later the Head of Procurement and Construction. Rubén was also a Board Member for OX2 Construction AB. In 2020, they co-founded Plexigrid.

Rubén Medina Santos completed a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School in 2020, a MSc in Manufacturing from Cranfield University in 2002, and a B.S and M.S in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 1996 and 2001, with a focus in Electrical and Mechanical.
