Peggy Thompson

Dr. Peggy Thompson is the current Vice President of Biology at Plexium. Peggy has served in this role for the past two years. Prior to joining Plexium, Dr. Thompson was with eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc. for eight years, where they held various positions including Executive Director of Translational Medicine and Director of Biology. Before eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc., Dr. Thompson was a Director of Biology at Anadys Pharmaceuticals for 10 years. Peggy started their career as a Group Leader at Biopraxis, Inc. and then went on to serve as a Senior Staff Fellow at The National Institutes of Health. Dr. Thompson has dedicated their career to the advancement of biology and medicine and has made significant contributions to both fields.

Peggy Thompson has a PhD from UC San Diego and a PostDoc from the University of California, Berkeley.
