Nikhil Chandra

Nikhil Chandra, Ph.D., is a Software Engineer at Plexon Inc since June 2022, specializing in advanced visualization tools for neuroscience research. Nikhil previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2013 to January 2022, focusing on neuroprosthetics and sensory feedback integration with prosthetic limbs, as well as investigating neural correlates of odor processing. Nikhil has also held roles as a Data Scientist at Bayer, a Fellow at InSITE, a Research Assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, a Database Engineer at S&P Global Market Intelligence, and an Undergraduate Research Intern at The University of Texas at Austin. Nikhil earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Neuroprosthetics from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Applied & Engineering Physics from Cornell University.
