Chris Mertens has been with Plextek since December 2003, holding the title of Principle PCB Designer at Plextek and Principle PCB Design Engineer at Plextek Services Limited. With over 17 years of experience, Chris specializes in RF (Low and High power), Controlled Impedance, Analogue, Digital, Split Power Planes, High Speed Digital, and Mixed Technology PCB layout techniques. Chris also possesses extensive knowledge of Surface Mount Technology, Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacture (DFM), and Complex multi-layer (HDI) ‘blind/buried’ via designs in both RF and Digital applications.
