William Thompson

William Thompson is a finance and education professional with a diverse background in community impact and accounting. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Plinth since October 2023, Thompson drives efforts to assist over 500 community groups with funding and outreach. Prior to this, Thompson co-founded Time to Spare from April 2019 to October 2023. Thompson gained valuable experience at Dixon Wilson, first as Part Qualified ACA and then as Exam Qualified ACA from March 2016 to April 2019. Early career experiences include roles at Southworth & Co as a Work Experience participant and as a Self-Employed Academic Tutor, along with internships at OVO Energy and EY. William Thompson holds a Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and completed ACA training through ICAEW.
