Dick Baars

Dick Baars is an experienced project and tendermanager with a focus on civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Tendermanager and Projectdirecteur for Mekante Diek at Ploegam BV, Baars oversees a significant dike reinforcement project for Waterschap Rivierenland. Previous roles include Project Manager for various initiatives at Dura Vermeer, focusing on environmental restoration and railway safety, and leadership positions at Royal HaskoningDHV, where Baars managed teams and projects across the Netherlands. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Hu University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and additional business training from TSM Business School, Baars brings a comprehensive skill set in project management, team leadership, and strategic planning.
